BUYERS GONNA BUY: New contracts on homes rebounded nicely in May in the Tampa Metro market. After 10 weeks of decline, pending contracts bottomed in mid-April and have increased to 18% over 2019 averages. Year-over-year pending sales are measured on a 7-day rolling average. The average sales prices increased about 2% to $287,620. One reason prices are holding steady is that inventory remains low.
